American Airlines is rolling out a new program for its frequentest frequent flyers called PriorityAAccess. This program will provide customers with expedited check-in, security screenings and boarding for AAdvantage Elite
Status Members, First and Business Class Travelers, AAirpass Customers, and those passengers who actually pay full fare for tickets in coach. PriorityAAccess provides customers with an “array of enhancements designed to make the airport process and overall travel experience more convenient.” More convenience at the airport is always appreciated, particularly for those of us who live on the road.
American has big plans to roll out PriorityAAccess on September 30 and will have the program entirely operational by the end of October. What do you get?
PriorityAAccess Check-In: PriorityAAccess customers will have access to a dedicated check-in area at the ticket counter of each and every airport where the airline operates.

PriorityAAccess Security Screening: Where permitted by airport policy and government security regulations, American will offer dedicated PriorityAAccess security screening lanes. American plans to offer PriorityAAccess screening lanes in its 10 largest airports, as well as in
other airports where permitted by the TSA. The airports that will have exclusive PriorityAAccess security screen lanes thus far are: Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Miami (MIA), Los
Angeles (LAX), New York JFK (JFK), New York La Guardia (LGA), St. Louis (STL), San Francisco (SFO), Boston (BOS) and San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU).
PriorityAAccess Boarding Lanes: American plans to offer dual boarding lanes at its gates, including one for PriorityAAccess customers and one for general boarding. Customers with PriorityAccess privileges will be invited to board first or board at any time through their exclusive
PriorityAAccess lane, which allows them to
cut in line bypass lines after general boarding has begun.

Who is eligible? First and Business Class customers; AAdvantage Executive Platinum, AAdvantage Platinum and Gold members; AAirpass customers; oneworld(R) Alliance Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby members; and those customers traveling on full-fare Economy Class tickets.
