Delta Air Lines Sky360 Club in New York

Think you’ve done everything there is to do in New York? Think again. Delta Air Lines has opened a new club - the Sky360 in New York City. Sky360 is a “lounge and event space” showing off the airline’s “unique in-flight experience and worldwide destinations.” So they expect people to actually visit this club on purpose to watch inflight entertainment screenings for hits like Entourage, Sex and the City and the Sopranos. Obviously these would have to be on-demand selections when in the sky.

When the sun goes down, the Midnight Sky Bar will serve up cocktails designed by Randy Gerber, whoever that is. And if you just can’t get enough of airline food, you can dine on the new menu as well.

The best news is that the club offers free Wi-Fi, which may be a reason to go in and of itself.

The Sky360 will be open from now until November 11, 2007. I guess the company’s recent departure from bankruptcy doesn’t leave them with the dough to keep in running longer.

You can find it at 101 West 57th St. West 57th at 6th Ave.
