ExpressJet and Budget Rent A Car Agreement

ExpressJet has taken Budget Rent A Car on as a partner. What does that mean for you? That means you can now reserve rental cars through Budget with “special discounts and promotions” when you book their flights. The deals and promos will be available to JetSet frequent flyer rewards program members.

“Making the travel experience more convenient for our customers is one of our top priorities,” said Jim Ream, ExpressJet Airlines President and CEO. “We designed our service to provide non-stop routes, and enabling our customers to reach their final destination with reliable ground transportation is another way we can help them get where they want to go faster.”

If you don’t already know, the carrier is now standing on its own two feet. ExpressJet now offers service throughout the western United States, not only D.B.A. Continental Airlines.

Whadda ya get? ExpressJet customers will receive up to 25% off Avis rental rates and up to 20% off Budget rentals when the reservation is made on www.xjet.com. In addition to the discount, Avis and Budget will provide ExpressJet customers with other valuable benefits, such as upgrades. “Upgrades” in car language means giving you a gas guzzler when you ordered an economy car.
