Gold Passport, the rewards program offered by Hyatt, gives patrons loads of options to earn points and miles for their hard earned dollars. And who doesn’t love the Hyatt? Members have the option of earning Gold Passport Points or airline miles with their account. This is one of the more pain-in-the-neck awards programs to navigate, but the rewards are great.
Other partner options: Aeromexico® (1,000 Kilometers), Alitalia (600 Miles), China Eastern Airlines (800 Points), LAN (1,000 Kilometers), Mexicana (625 Miles), Qantas Airways (600 or 1,000 Points), Southwest Airlines®(0.5 credits), Virgin Atlantic Airways (750 Miles).
AmeriSuites, Hawthorn Suites and Summerfield Suites options: Earn three points per dollar for every night. Earn 300 miles per stay on the following: Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Amtrak, Continental Airlines®, Delta Air Lines®, Northwest Airlines®, Southwest Airlines®(0.5 credits), United®, US Airways®. Earn 300 points for each qualifying rental at Avis® or Sixt Rent-A-Car®.
Awards Redemption: You can redeem points at Hyatt, AmeriSuites, Hawthorn Suites, Summerfield Suites, Hyatt Vacation Club, Avis®, Sixt Rent-A-Car®, convert points into miles or donate points to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.
Faster Free Nights: From November 1, 2006 to January 31, 2007 members are eligible for the recurring Faster Free Nights promotion when they use MasterCard. Get this - you earn one (1) free night for every two (2) eligible nights stay. You can’t beat that with a stick.
How? Be or become a Gold Passport member, register for the promotion, stay at the hotel (be sure to provide your Gold Passport number at check-in) and pay with your MasterCard. The number of nights you can earn is unlimited.
