Marriott Environmental Awareness Month
Marriott Hotels has established itself as the most environmentally conscious US based hotel group, with efforts ranging from emissions reduction to recycling programs. The company celebrates Environmental Awareness Month for the entire month of April with partner organization Clean Up the World.
If you’re staying at the Marriott for Earth Day (April 22), look for a copy of True Green, a new book with advice on 100 everyday ways you can contribute to a healthier planet. I want that book.
I believe business travelers need to be particularly aware of our environmental impact, as we as a group make up a significant portion of airline passengers and hotel guests. We travel frequently and need to use the services of environmentally conscious companies, such as Marriott.
