Norhtwest Airlines Flight Cancellations

Northwest Airlines had canceled 189 additional flights today through 5:00 pm. That brings them up to a staggering 500 flights since Friday. That’s a lot of stranded passengers. Detroit alone was subject to 45 cancelled flights, which is the most of any U.S. city, according to Flightstats.com.

Northwest spokesman Roman Blahoski blamed Northwest pilots. Gee, I don’t think the way to get your airline up and running is to blame the pilots for all of your problems. You kind of need them. Why don’t you blame the airline for overworking the pilots, who had topped the number of hours they could work in a month?

No wonder no one is interested in my Northwest miles.
