RegionsAir, a regional carrier for American Airlines, has been forced to cancel flights in order to resolve FAA issues with its Line Check Airman Certification and Training program, which is mandated by the FAA.

According to the press release, American Airlines reservations agents will rebook passengers without penalty whose flights have been cancelled or offer full refunds for the portion of their travel affected by the cancellations.

Those affected will be passengers traveling between St. Louis Lambert field and the following: Burlington, IA; Decatur, IL; Marion, IL; Springfield, IL; Quincy, IL; Ft. Leonard Wood, MO; Cape Girardeau, MO; Owensboro, KY; and Jackson, TN.
