While AA would do a great job with the DFW route, I think that United's proposal makes more sense for the whole country. America is the largest country without non-stop capital-to-capital service to China. This must change. A non-stop air route connecting Beijing and Washington, D.C. will bring China and the U.S. together – in business, politics, and culture. Connecting Washington, D.C. and Beijing would encourage cooperation in commerce, security, science, and more. The two most important capitals for the future of the world ought to have a non-stop air connection.
