US Airways Fee Waiver for Preferred Members

US Airways has decided they will no longer charge Preferred Members of the Dividend Miles program the standard $25 fee for same-day standby flight changes. That’s great news if you want to hop on an earlier flight home from your current business trip. This move is the opposite of some airlines who are currently instituting charges for stand-by tickets.

How do you get in on the action? Preferred status is awarded to passengers who earn 25,000 qualifying miles or complete 30 flight segments on US Airways flights in one calendar.
