Braincast: Leave Yourself a Message

MessageBraincast Beta, by calling a special toll free number, lets users send themselves messages. Very important to the road warrior who doesn’t want to attempt to write sticky notes or text while driving, but also handy for any business traveler. The service takes the message you leave and forwards it to an online account. Super cool. Think about it – you’re on a flight and have about a minute before they close the boarding door. You just don’t have time to whip out your laptop to save something in your Outlook calendar. With this service, all you have to do is call the number and leave a message. Braincast will send you an email reminder to pickup your message online.

Braincast lets you add notes and tags to your recordings, as well as email them to other people. The drawback is that you’re limited to calling from three different phone numbers, so don’t plan on calling from the hotel in your city for the night.

Synonmys:
Crazy-casting- Because it may leave you with the unsettling sense that you’ve merely found a new venue for the conversations usually reserved for the intimate privacy of one’s mind.
