EmergingSoft Corporation offers a tool for Outlook users, MeetingPlanner for Outlook, that gives users resource scheduling, event management, office hoteling, and facilities management in one Outlook compatible system. The software is used for organizations using Exchange and Outlook for their email and calendaring, and who support a
workforce dispersed over multiple office locations. The latest release provides increased functionality within Outlook scheduling including:

Intelligent search of conference rooms based on resource requirements.
Built-in workflow with automatic work order generation for room setups.
Reporting features on room and equipment utilization.
The ability to request catering and special arrangements tied to a meeting or event.

Improved performance for Active Directory synchronization.
Synchronize free/busy information between Exchange mailboxes set up as MeetingPlanner resources. (This component does not require any installation on Exchange Server. Enterprise users may gradually deploy MeetingPlanner while still supporting resource mailboxes for scheduling resources.
