Microsoft Bribes Businesses for Live Search Use

Microsoft Corporation is taking drastic measures to get businesses to use its Live Search function - the company is actually going to pay businesses for employee use of Live Search. No, you won’t be getting cold, hard cash. Upon registration, the company will receive a $25,000 credit for service or training credits to be used for Microsoft products. After the initial registration, the company is eligible for up to $10 per computer annually for Live Search usage.

What’s the clincher? Companies would also be required to mandate that their users use IE7 while at work. No more Firefox!? Oh, hell no. I don’t see that going over very well.

But if your company is knee deep in tech needs, this may be a way for you to get ahead.
