The Leg Pocket - Secure Storage for Travelers

Leg PocketThe Leg Pocket is like a gun holster for your gear. Seriously. It wraps around your thigh or calf (like a leg gun holster) and holds things like credit cards and passports. So it’s a new spin on the under-the-shirt fanny pack travelers have been using for years. It can also be used on your bicep or ankle. I wonder how it would work for my Nano?

The Leg Pocket comes in a variety of colors, which cracks me up, as well as in plus size. The Leg Pocket retails from $31-$35, and is available in lamb leathers, patent leathers and matching suede and in various sizes and colors. That seems pretty steep for this type of product, considering my under the shirt version was about eight bucks. It’s your money. Spend it as you will.

Security is important when you travel abroad. I was never a big fan of products such as these, until I was robbed. Had I stored my credit card and passport in something like the Leg Pocket, I may not have been standing in line in the Lima embassy waiting to get an emergency passport to come home.
