Park Hyatt Masters of Food & Wine South America Preview and Show
Park Hyatt hotel in Philly, D.C. and Chicago will each play host to local previews of the Masters of Food & Wine South America this September. The preview will provide a little taste of the five day food and wine festival, which will be held at the Park Hyatt Mendoza and Palacio Duhau-Park Hyatt in Buenos Aires. The U.S. events will feature visiting Argentine chefs, to showcase the Argentine cuisine, wine and entertainment of the country. They will go down as follows:

GreenVacationHub offers a “green portal” for travelers seeking ecologically friendly accommodations. The site claims to be “a global guide that links travelers with accommodations that emphasize good health and green practices.” Travelers have the option to find hotels to fit specific needs, such as smoke-free properties to eco-tourism destinations. Kayak.com just conduced a poll of 1,141 travelers about their experiences in hotels, with some fantastic results. Just a little food for thought the next time you check in to the Marriott on your business trip.

Marriott Hotels FINALLY Get Free Wi-Fi
Five Marriott brands, including Courtyard, Residence Inn, Fairfield Inn, TownePlace Suites and SpringHill Suites, will now offer guests free Wi-Fi at their properties in the U.S. and Canada. These properties previously offered guests high-speed and Wi-Fi for a fee. The hotel have now eliminated Wi-Fi charges for guests in lobbies and other public areas.
I guess that means you still have to pay in the rooms, which is crap.

Travelocity User Generated Traveler Reviews Redux
Travelocity is looking to redefine user generated reviews, by offering a new tool that helps users find information from “like-minded” travelers. This tool gives the user the ability to sort through a really big number of reviews to find relevant information. The searchable categories include: families, couples, kid-friendly, teen friendly, mature travelers, solo women, group of friends, persons with disabilities, traveling with pets, other vacationers and BUSINESS TRAVELERS. Hilton and Doubletree just announced the winners of the Top Bar Chef competition, held in New Orleans last week.
