The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California
The Golden Gate Bridge is the icon of San Francisco and one of the most recognizable landmarks in the United States. I have always wanted to visit the bridge and finally had the opportunity last week. The view of bridge was partially obscured by fog, which is the case more often than not. It was still an amazing site to see, though.
The Golden Gate Bridge was completed on May 27, 1937. It was, at the time, the longest suspension bridge in the world. It has since …

worth looking at. Once you travel to the heart of the city, you get a different …

This transfer is part of the historic Open Space Agreement approved by Irvine voters in 1988, which guarantees that beautiful places throughout the city, such as Quail Hill, Bommer Canyon and the Jeffrey Open Space Trail, will be protected forever as the company …

Petit Jean Mountain in Morrilton, Arkansas
Petit Jean Mountain is a beautiful park about an hours drive from Little Rock. If you want to get in on some nature action while you’re in the Little Rock area, this would be a great spot to do it. There are several trails of different lengths, taking you anywhere from the bear cave to a waterfall to just around in a big circle. While on the mountain, you can visit the petting zoo or the antique car museum. My nephew was shocked to learn the cars …

The Old Mill in North Little Rock, Arkansas
The Old Mill in North Little Rock, Arkansas is a beautiful spot to visit any time of the year. If you’re in Little Rock for business or pleasure, you really should take the time to see the historic Pugh’s Mill, which was featured in the opening credits of Gone With the Wind. Every Arkansan knows about the place, and hordes of people make the trip with a photographer in tow for high school senior pictures and wedding photos. Don’t let that discourage you, it usually isn’t that crowded. …
