Marriott Hotels has established itself as the most environmentally conscious US based hotel group, with efforts ranging from emissions reduction to recycling programs. The company celebrates Environmental Awareness Month for the entire month of April with partner organization Clean Up the World.

I believe business travelers need to be particularly aware of our environmental impact, as we as a group make up a significant portion of airline passengers and hotel guests. We travel frequently and need to use the services of environmentally conscious companies, such as Marriott.

I am an associate of the Marriott Brand of hotels on and off now for about two years and I am very proud to see that my compnay is so involved in taking steps to better the environment. I am an Environmental stuides major in college in the town where I work, and I am very happy to see that the company I work for is just as dedicated to the Environment as I am.
