* Review: The Shakespeare Hotel is a gorgeous tudor property in a great location in Stradford-upon-Avon, England. The rooms are equipped with all of the hotel standards, including a selection of tea and coffee. The rooms located away from the street offer a quiet place to catch some Z’s. Internet access is available, at a cost of one pound for 10 minutes. In addition, the property is a Wi-Fi hotspot for those who carry their laptops along.
The 16th century Shakespeare Hotel has a Grade 1 listing for architectural and historical interest. The most interesting part of the hotel is that it is [supposedly] haunted by a ghost named Lucy. Don’t worry ladies, she only haunts men. I guess that’s why I didn’t see her or “feel pressure on my chest while I was sleeping.”
(Good advice from the Shakespeare Hotel)
