* Review: While Lupe’s is a chain (kind of a local chain), it’s quite good. The steak fajitas were sizzling and yummy and one plate can easily feed two people. From what I hear, the carne asada is SUPER. Happy hour lasts until 7:00 and includes $1.00 off margaritas. Lupe knows how to make salsa. It was nice and spicy. Unfortunately they don’t serve the verde varitey, which is my favorite.

Rating it on the Houston Mexican Food Scale, it ranks in between Don’Key’s and Monterrey’s. Don’s being the best.
