Wine in a Can

Wine in a CanNothing says class like drinking out of the can. Kidding, I have no problem with drinking out of a can, but check this out. Now you can have your White Zinfandel straight out of the aluminum, too. I nearly doubled over in laughter when I read a post on the Australia Blog about the new invention of wine in a can. The Aussies like drinks in cans. Jack Daniels and Cola and Jim Beam and Cola in can form is quite popular. Most people in the U.S. don’t even know these drinks exist. They do, I’ve partaken before on canoeing trips where glass containers were not allowed.

It is, evidently, available with bubbles and without. So now making champagne coolies will be a breeze. According to Heather, “The flavors tend to be on the lighter side such as Rose’ and Chardonnay Semillon, but this is actual wine - not a wine cooler.”

Three cheers for the guy who invented wine in a can.
