Orbitz Worldwide announced a new partnership today with StarCite. StarCite is a meetings management company and this alliance will help corporate meetings planners to plan and book travel.
StarCite provides a web-based software platform for enterprise meetings management that helps organizations bring visibility, savings and control to corporate meetings and event spend. Through this new alliance with Orbitz Worldwide’s Corporate Travel Solutions Group, StarCite users and meeting attendees will be able to book travel on Orbitz for Business and Travelport for Business direct from the StarCite Attendee Management application. The new travel booking feature is expected to be available to customers by the first quarter of 2008.
Orbitz is growing in the business world by leaps and bounds. This partnership is one of several and I expect the company will keep them coming.
