American Airlines Offers Bonus Frequent Flyer Miles this Holiday Season

By shopping online at American Airlines eShopping Mall, AAdvantage members can earn a boatload of bonus miles this holiday season, through December 31, 2006. We love our miles, so here’s how you do it:

• Earn double miles when you pay of eShopping purchases with any MasterCard.
  
  

• Earn a premium on purchases made through participating retailers , including: 10 miles per dollar (MPD) at Sharper Image; 8 MPD at drugstore.com and RedEnvelope; 6 MPD at Barnes & Noble, Blue Nile, Eddie Bauer, eLUXURY.com, Harry and David, Lands’ End, Macy’s and Restoration Hardware; and 4 MPD at Bose, Circuit City, eToys.com, GiftCertificates.com, JCPenney, Overstock, SonyStyle, Staples and Home Depot (Hint for the boys: don’t get your girlfriend a gift from Staples or Home Depot unless she specifically asks for it).
  
  

• Citi Bank AAdvantage MasterCard cardholders can earn 500 bonus miles by spending between $250 and $499.99 at the mall using their Citi Bank MasterCard. By spending $500 or more, cardholders can earn 1000 bonus miles. And as always, cardholders earn 1 miles per dollar spent on all purchases.
