Hertz Hertz is one of the best known car rental agencies in the world. With rentals available in 234 countries around the globe, you’re sure to find a car in your next business destination.

You can earn miles or points with Hertz with any participating airline, hotel or rail partner. In order to receive the miles, you must present your membership card for the program at the Hertz counter upon pickup. Some airlines have restrictions, like requiring proof of recent or pending flight or renting within a certain time period before or after the flight. Check the Hertz partner page for each airline to determine what you will need. For US airlines, you will charged Frequent Flyer Surcharge of $0.50 per day up to a maximum of $2.00 per rental. Partners participating in the surcharge are noted with an “*” in the following list. Earning hotel points with either partner program does not require a hotel stay. Simply present your membership card at the Hertz desk.

Hertz #1 Club allows members certain benefits, including expedited reservations, savings and the ability to reserve a specific make and model at participating locations. Membership is FREE.

Hertz #1 Club Gold gives members even more benefits. Members can skip the counter at 40 airport locations. At 1000 additional locations, members have a designated reservation desk. This program will set you back $50.

AAA Benefits: Hertz has a longstanding partnership with AAA. AAA members who select Hertz as their rental car provider receive increased discounts, one free child seat, 50% off SIRIUS Satellite Radio and 25% off navigation systems.
