Southwest Bonus Miles for College Students

Plane CrackersSouthwest Airlines has a standing offer for college kids of double miles on flights booked on www.southwest.com. Yes, I said college KIDS for a reason. The offer is only available to students between the ages of 18 and 23. That sucks for those of us who take our time getting our degrees (like me). Like the Free New York Times subscription post I recently did, I realize this has little to do with business travel, per se, but LOADS of my readers are coming from the college campuses across the United States.

College students who pre-register for the program receive a fly 3 roundtrips, get one free. That means you have to fly round trip six times in a 24 month period to get a free ticket, where the rest of us have to fly 8. Lucky you.
