World Tourism Organization Health Information Site

The World Tourism Organization has thrown their chips in with the new .travel wave of websites with the new www.sos.travel site. This site is dedicated to informing travelers of potential health risks in various parts of the globe. The site will list information such as current bird flu risk areas, which is the bulk of the information on the site at this time. It may be a good source to check before traveling abroad, in addition to the CDC check I’m sure you’re all very diligent about.

The World Tourism Organization is an agency of the United Nations which covers a broad spectrum of tourism related activities from legislation to ecotourism to education and development. Learn more at www.unwto.org.
