Let’s Get Ready to Rumble…Or Whatever You Say for Fantasy Football

It’s that time again. Time for every guy I know to get to work building their very own fantasy football team of the year. I’ve never participated in a league, but it seems to be almost as addictive as ranch dressing.

I think this is a great idea for business travelers. Besides watching Will and Grace re-runs and up-dating your blog, what else are you going to do at 10:00 p.m. in Dothan, Alabama or wherever else you may be? Join a league and you can check your stats, trade players, talk smack to the other “manager’s” and whatever else you may need in the comfort of your own hotel room.

This doesn’t have to be limited to football. In the spring you can join a fantasy baseball (which is more my speed) league, to keep up your game year round.

Of course if you are like me and become hopelessly addicted to fantasy football your performance at work will likely suffer considerable.

Go Bears!
