Tired of Singing in the Car: Billboard Counting in Missouri

As far as I can tell, this game only works in the great State of Missouri. It has been a mystery to myself and many others for years and years. I know Missouri is a Catholic state, but so is Louisiana and you can’t find anything similar there.

To get to the point, the game is “Count the Anti-Abortion Billboards.” I’m not making a moral stand for or against the billboards or the corresponding social issue. Who am I to judge? I’m just saying there are a boatload of those billboards.

I’ve never seen anything else like it, with the possible exception of the 43 miles of billboards leading up to South of the Border in Dillon, South Carolina.

Anyone who has driven through the Show Me state knows what I mean.

Also, there isn’t much else to do on I-55, besides laugh at funny city names like Herculaneum. I’ve always wanted to go there, by the way.
