American Airlines On the Move Sweepstakes & Instant Win Game

American Airlines is always up to something in the promotions department, and now they’re at it again with the On the Move promotion. Between now and June 16, 2008, you have the chance to score some great prizes, like tickets to a red-carpet event at Nokia Theatre LA Live, Nokia N95 mobile devices and 100,000 AAdvantage miles. Sweet!

American has partnered with Nokia (obviously) to offer this particular promotion, which is designed to learn you all about the mobile version of the company’s website, aa.com.

“This promotion is a fun way to highlight the fact that our mobile version of AA.com enables travelers to access many of the helpful features on AA.com via a Web-enabled cell phone or device, without the need for a desktop or laptop computer,” said Derek DeCross, American’s Managing Director - Interactive Marketing. “We continue to strive to enhance the travel experience for our customers, and the mobile version of AA.com is another way we’ve done that.”

On the Move Sweepstakes

There are two ways to enter the On the Move Sweepstakes. Each contestant is allowed a total of two entries are allowed in any combination:

Receive one entry each time you register at aa.com/promo during the promotional period (from now until June 16).
Receive one entry for visiting aa.com on your mobile phone or web-enabled device. Or
Receive one entry for “referring a friend” by forwarding the sweepstakes information to others (up to three people).

Prizes

Grand Prize: A trip for two to fabulous Los Angeles, including airfare and spending money, along with tickets to a red-carpet event at Nokia Theatre LA Live. One Grand Prize will be awarded. No word on what the event will be.
First Prize: Sixty-one lucky winners will receive a Nokia N95 mobile device.

Winners will be chosen by random drawing.

Instant Win Game

Hopefuls may enter the Instant Win Game by visiting the aa.com website by mobile phone. Seriously, that’s all you have to do. Each time you use a mobile device to access the website, you have the chance to win thousands of AAdvantage miles instantly. You may only enter the Instant Win Game once per day.

Prizes

Grand Prize: 100,000 AAdvantage miles.
First Prize: Eight winners will receive 10,000 AAdvantage miles each.

Winners for the Instant Win Game will be selected at random as well.
