Auto Europe Chauffeur Service in China

ChauffeurAuto Europe is adding Chine to its lengthy list of car hire destinations, with more than 6,000 locations to date. However, locations in China are a little different than those found in the rest of the world. In China, only persons who hold a Chinese drivers license are allowed to drive cars. So business travelers to Beijing and other parts of the country are forced to depend on public transportation or chauffeur service. To satisfy this demand, Auto Europe is offering hire cars, complete with a chauffeur. The service is available immediately.

If you plan to visit Beijing during the 2008 Olympics, between August 8 and August 24, you need to reserve a car as soon as possible to ensure a car will be available.

Auto Europe offers car hire in China in ten cities throughout the country, including Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Qingdao, Sanya, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

Bookings can be made for either 4 hours from GBP41.50, or 8 hours from GBP78, and include 80 or 150km respectively. Prices do include taxes, but local charges such as parking and gratuities should be paid during your visit. Your driver will pick you up from a chosen hotel, airport or station and drop you off at the same place at the end of your allocated slot.

The service is available online at auto-europe.co.uk. Choose the ‘Car Hire’ tab and then ‘Chauffeur or Transfer Services’. Otherwise, you can book your chauffeur service by phone at 0800 358 1245, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. In addition to China, chauffeur and transfer options are also available (but not legally required) in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and here in the UK.

The Port Authority of New York/New Jersey HAS DECLARED THE AVIS WEDRIVEU PROGRAM ILLEGAL!

Our congratulations go to Barry Lefkowitz and the Limousine Associations of New Jersey for all their hard work in this matter. This means that the following airports will be off-limits to the Avis WeDriveU program:

1) JFK
2) LA GUARDIA
3) NEWARK

New York and Newark are now in good company with Atlanta, Miami-Dade County, Houston and Phoenix
as having done the right thing in shutting down a system that is inherently illegal and a clear and present
danger to Public Health and Safety.

We would encourage all other Limousine Associations across America to re-double their efforts to get
their local and state regulators and airport authorities to consult with their counterparts in other cities who
have already made the correct and proper decision.

Together working hard, we can eliminate this scourge of nationwide illegal gypsy operators and restore
public confidence in truly professional corporate and luxury transportation, on-time every time, with
properly permitted and inspected vehicles and highly-trained, FBI-cleared chauffeurs.

Our congratulations again to the Garden State!
