You mix together apple cider, pommeau and a dab of Calvados.  The cider here is hard cider, the pommeau is an apple based before dinner drink and the Calvados is apple brandy/moonshine.  I&#039;ll have to doublecheck on the proportions.  

Be careful if you order a martini in France - it&#039;s really sweet vermouth on the rocks - which is OK if you know that&#039;s what you&#039;ve ordered.</description>
