Free Airport Wi-Fi!

Boingo, the service provider found in loads of airports throughout the U.S., Canada and the U.K., is offering travelers 15 minutes of FREE Wi-Fi. As of now, you have to have an iPhone or iPod Touch to get the deal, but the company plans to extend the offering to users of Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Windows Mobile users in the near future.

To get your 15 minutes, you’ll have to watch a short ad. Big deal.

Boingo services 28 airports around the world. London is well connected with Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted all Boingo hotspots. In the U.S., you can access Boingo at BWI, HOU, IAH, JFK, LGA, ORD, among others.

In the UK, you can jump online at London Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted as well as at Edinburgh Airport and a couple others. In North America, there are a couple dozen airports in on the promo, with BWI, HOU, IAH, JFK, LGA, ORD and YYZ am

Via Jaunted. Let me know if it works, I couldn’t find information on it anyplace else.

Hi Carrie,

I’m PR over at Boingo, and it should be up and running. Let me know if you have any questions about the promotion.
