iPhone App Edits Excel Spreadsheets
MobileFiles Pro is a new iPhone application that allows users to edit Excel Spreadsheets on the phone. Brought to you by QuickOffice, this particular app will set you back $9.99. I know heaps of business travelers have to work with Excel spreadsheets on a daily basis, but I am no longer one of them. That being said, I have no plans to purchase the program to try it out myself.
How does this work?
MobileFiles Pro imports your Excel workbook either wirelessly from your computer or from the iDisk web sharing site provided with the program. Once imported, you’ll be able to edit any page in the workbook, with all the standard fixings like inserting cells, formatting your information, using formulas and adding new pages.
With these applications that have a price tag attached, I really think you should get a short FREE trial period to check it out before you shell out the dough. But if you want to make the purchase, cnet gave it good reviews.
