You may find this hard to believe, but United Airlines just sent my husband and me two $100 vouchers as an apology for a change of planes due to a mechanical problem (an oil filter needed to be changed) on one of their Boeings. This was for a Dulles to Paris flight. We deplaned and waited about three hours (which these days isn’t so bad). Compared to Continental leaving us to find a piece of the floor at the Newark airport for an overnight, United has made us feel like VIPS!
Isn’t travel a hoot?
