Virgin America’s SuperFly Wednesdays

The folks over at Virgin America like a good par-tay, so they’re spicing things up. It looks like Wednesday is the new Saturday, for the airlines anyway. Virgin America is bringing you SuperFly Wednesdays, where “mixing, mingling, and networking happen in style.” It’s totally NOT my scene, but if you’re interested, check it out.

Virgin wants to hook you up with complimentary cocktails (2 per person for passengers over the age of 21) and seat-to-seat chat. According to the press release, “This is our happy hour in the sky to get you through the rest of the week.” How very nice!

Your boarding pass is the ticket to the after-party. Continue on like a true jet-setter upon arrival and head over to these fabulous spots for some more complimentary drinks and special room rates:

If you’re on one of the following flights on the 18th of this month, expect things to get a little rowdy:

Flt 313, JFK to LAX, departs 5:05 pm
Flt 1839, SFO to LAX, departs 6 pm
Flt 1777, SFO to LAS, departs 7:15 pm
Flt 1852, LAX to SFO, departs at 3:55pm

Tao at the Venetian (Las Vegas): Every Wednesday, present your Virgin America boarding pass for complimentary VIP admission to Tao Lounge and a wristband good for a sponsored bar, 9:30-11pm. Sweet! Offer good Wednesday, May 21 through Wednesday, June 16. Void special events and holidays. Proper dress is required for all entries; men are required to wear a collared shirt and dress shoes; tee shirts and sneakers are not permitted. The door reserves the right to decline entry of any guest not in proper dress code. Tao reserves the right to decline entry due to capacity issues. The Tropicana at the Roosevelt (Los Angeles): Show your Virgin America boarding pass for two free drinks by the pool.

XYZ at W Hotel (San Francisco): Present your Virgin America boarding pass at XYZ Bar for two complimentary cocktails from 6-8pm. Offer good every Wednesday, from May 21st through June 18th. Only two complimentary cocktails per person, per visit. Maximum value is $25. Gratuity not included. Only guests who are 21 years of age or older with valid identification will receive the alcoholic beverage. Guests may elect to have a non-alcoholic beverage.
