US Airways New Self-Service Check-In
US Airways has recently decided to begin using self-service check-in solutions from a company called Kinetics at all 107 US Airways locations in the United States and the Caribbean. That should make it easier for you to check in for your next business trip, unless you do in online the night before like normal people.
“This is all about continuously improving the travel experience for our customers by providing a self-service check-in that offers ease of use and that will now be on a common platform system-wide,” said US Airways Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer Joe Beery. “We have been extremely impressed with the ability of Kinetics to deliver a superior self-service solution, as well as the flexibility and responsiveness of their team.”
The replacement of the 600 kiosks will begin in mid-June and continue through September, which sounds like it could cause a few problems during the transition period.
Look for the new kiosks coming up. It really should make things easier using a standard KIND of kiosk across the board.
