AirTran Airways 15th Anniversary Essay Contest

AirTran Airways is turning 15. And in celebration of the occasion, the airline is asking passengers to submit a story about how AirTran has impacted their lives over the years. Between now and November 15, 2008, you can submit your story at airtran.com/MyStory, telling the world how AirTran made your flight experience memorable.

Stories are placed in to one of four categories, including My Family Travel Story, My Romantic Travel Story, My Business Travel Story or My Last Minute Travel Story. You can write about anything from “a description of one special flight, to memories of an affordable family vacation that might otherwise have been too expensive, to lauding a route addition that made it easier to visit family, friends or business associates in another city.”

Your writing efforts will not go unnoticed. AirTran will select four winners, one from each category, will score a set of AirTran Airways coach tickets and $500. Should you enter, mark December 15, 2008 on your calendar. That will be the date the winners are announced.

“We want to involve our passengers in celebrating our 15th anniversary,” said Tad Hutcheson, vice president of marketing and sales for AirTran Airways. “Our customers are our top priority and we want to hear from them how AirTran Airways made their vacation, marriage proposal or any other special event an occasion they won’t forget.”
