Bausch & Lomb TSA Compliant Contact Lens Care

Bausch & LombBausch & Lomb has introduced a new product to help you get through the TSA line with ease (and without checking you bags just because of your contact supplies. Here’s what they’ve got:

  • Company Introduces ReNu MultiPlus® Travel Kit With Two-Ounce Bottle and Lens Case.

The smaller size complies with the TSA’s 3.4 ounce liquid carry-on requirements and “promotes eye health by eliminating the practice of transferring sterile solution to a smaller, non-sterile bottle.” The new kit is currently the only multi-purpose contact lens solution sold that complies with the three-ounce Transportation Security Administration (TSA) carry-on limit for liquids.

From the press release: Dr. DePaolis offers these additional travel wear-and-care tips:

  • Before traveling, clean and disinfect contact lenses properly with a multi-purpose solution such as ReNu MultiPlus solution.
  • Keep the body and eyes hydrated by drinking plenty of water, especially during air travel.
  • Keep a carry-on size bottle of sterile multi-purpose solution, rewetting drops and a clean contact lens case handy while traveling for maximum eye health and comfort.

A recent survey conducted by Russell Research found that 7 out of 10 contact lens wearers said it was important to have contact lens solution on-hand when they fly. Yep. My contacts get extra cloudy when I trave. The new ReNu MultiPlus Travel Kit was developed to meet that need and is currently available at mass-market retailers, drug stores and grocery stores nationwide.

In addition, Bausch & Lomb offers a convenient travel size of Boston® SIMPLUS™ Multi-Action Solution for gas permeable contact lenses.
