Continental Airlines and US Helicopert’s Express Helicopter Shuttle between Manhattan and Newark Liberty International Airport

US Helicopter and Continental Airlines have formed a partnership to provide business travelers with 8 minute shuttle service between Manhattan and Newark Liberty International Airport. This outstanding new service will begin on December 18, 2006.

For departing passengers flying Continental Airlines, the new shuttle will allow customers to check in, receive boarding passes and complete security screening at the Downtown Manhattan Heliport near Wall Street. Bags checked at the heliport will be through-checked to the passenger’s final destination. After the 8 minute flight to Newark, passengers will arrive on the secure side of Terminal C and be able to proceed directly to the departure gate for their Continental Airlines flight.

For arriving Continental passengers, US Helicopter’s service to Manhattan departs from gate 71 in Terminal C. Baggage will be automatically transferred via US Helicopter flight to the heliport in Manhattan.

Tickets will set you back $159.00 each way, not including security fees. Tickets may be purchased by visiting www.flyush.com or a link to US Helicopter’s website will be available at www.continental.com. The flights between Newark and Manhattan will operate hourly from 6:40 am to 6:30 pm.
