National Car Rental has joined forces with American Express to offer customers the new “Double Double” promotion, which lets American Express cardmembers earn double Membership Rewards points and receive a double upgrade from National when they pay for the rental with any American Express card. The promotion began in the middle of May (sorry, I’m just hearing about it) and will run through November 15, 2007. Double Double features a two-car-class upgrade with the rental of a compact through midsize at
participating National locations in the U.S. That’s cool, but the double rewards are even cooler.
