* Review: Don’Key’s homemade tortillas put the Mmmm in Mexican. Pair those tortillas (it doesn’t even matter what you put in them) with the buck fifty Miller Light and you have a recipe for a great dinner. Don’Key’s is an AUTHENTIC dive-ish Mexican joint just outside of Houston. You could lose you car in the potholes in the parking lot and you’ll see some interesting faces at the bar. I LOVE this type of place. The type of place where the person at the next table could be anything from a Congressman to a ditch digger. The steak fajitas are definitely worth writing home about and the salsa verde is FANTASTIC. A true locals place to check out when you visit the city and can’t stand the thought of eating at the hotel – again.
