* Review: New York is expensive, everybody knows that. But you don’t have to break the bank to be able to eat dinner. Restaurants like the Grand Lunch Box Buffet can be found throughout Chinatown, offering unbeatable prices for lunch or dinner. The Grand Lunch Box Buffet is not all you can eat. But you get 5 choices and 1 soup for $4.00. Yes, I said $4.00. The serving sizes are generous, so I can’t imagine anyone not getting filled up for that price. The buffet isn’t well marked in English, but you can “eyeball” the choices to see what looks yummy to you. I had some good picks and not so good picks when I ate there a few weeks ago. If you don’t want to eat in the restaurant, you can get the $3.50 takeout special after 5:00. It’s a great budget location if you’re visiting the city.
