Sunday Wine Cruises in New York

Cheese and WineShearwater’s “SUNDAYS OF WINE & CULTURE” wine tasting cruise series is ready to kick off for 2007. The Series is a six-month elegant and laid-back tasting and sailing program accompanied by cheese or other goodies paired to that week’s selected theme. The tasting takes place aboard the 82-foot Gatsby-Era luxury sailing yacht.

“Enjoy a breathtaking sail in the New York Harbor, educate the palate with our series of themed wines specially selected by Wildman, and have a good time learning some new phrases in Spanish, French or Italian” suggests Tom Berton, owner and operator of Shearwater Sailing. Every Sunday afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30pm, Shearwater Sailing will offer “Sundays of Wine and Culture” under the guidance of Felicia Sherbert, the award-winning author of The Unofficial Guide to Selecting Wine.
